The Rainforest Site was founded to promote the preservation of the world’s rainforests. Originally launched in May 2000, individuals from around the world visit the site each day to click the Click Here to Give – it’s FREE button and help rescue imperiled land. In just its first year of operation, The Rainforest Site generated funds to purchase and preserve over 5,650 acres of endangered land.
Land preservation, made possible by funds raised at The Rainforest Site, is paid for by site sponsors and carried out by Rainforest Trust (formerly World Land Trust-US).
